    Call for Volunteers

    Hello CMAA San Diego Members,

The Bachelor of Science in Construction Management Degree Program is seeking volunteers to join their Program Advisory Board.

The mission of the BS in Construction Management Advisory Board is to:

    • Advise on shaping a vision for the future of the program.
    • Advise on identifying and defining a set of focus areas to better align the program with the needs of local markets and to further differentiate the program at National University from similar programs at other universities.
    • Recommend current tools and technical content for potential integration into the construction engineering courses.
    • Suggest ways to promote the program to industry and potential students.
    • Promote ways to interact with the local and global community.

It is intended that the board meet three times per year, with meetings lasting no more than one and a half hours, held by Zoom or comparable teleconferencing software, to allow for more geographic distribution of the board members.  One of the first activities of the board will be to adopt Program Educational Objectives, which are required by ABET for accreditation of any degree program.

Board members will be invited to provide recommendations on new content which should be incorporated into the program, along with how it should be incorporated.  They will also be asked for suggestions on ways to improve persistence and graduation rates.

If you are interested in participating on this very important Board, please send an email to:
